Onsite IT Support Engineer
 

Mission and Responsibilities
IT support Engineer is responsible to perform local onsite support tasks among a number of company clinics located in the central London Area and remote support when needed.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Provide best-in-class technical remote support to our employees and contractors primarily via phone and email,
  • Effectively communicate with both employees and peers to ensure timely responses.
  • Perform field technical tasks according to tickets assigned, first and second line.
  • Support local clinics employees Including but not limited to:
  • End user PC Support and installation (Onboarding \ Offboarding)
  • Local and central servers troubleshooting
  • Local Printers and VOIP Support and installation
  • Network troubleshooting
  • Propose improvements on current technologies and implement them in cooperation with the line manager
  • Fortius local applications support (MedDBase | PACS | HIS | Sage | 8x8)
  • Help and support the IT Manager and other Engineers on projects for clinics
  • Coordinate when needed with external vendors on technical tasks and act as Fortius representative.
  • Any other IT support tasks upon request from the IT Manager in line with a support model framework
  • Tickets follow/up
  • Record all work activities in a timesheet in our ticketing system.
  • Ensure all tickets assigned are updated and follow/up accordingly.
  • Act as backup for the first line in case of need for ticket creations and resolution
  • Ensure the local security IT standard are in line with corporate guidelines
  • Participate in Security Meetings to be aligned with corporate implementations
  • Must be flexible regarding duties and hours of work, there may be occasional requirements to work out of regular scheduled hours for scheduled maintenance and other project related work.

Job requirements

Experience and Qualifications

• 3+ years’ industry experience In desktop Support workplace

• Experience of active directory (AD), server virtualization technologies, storage management, data security.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Support experience with Windows Desktop, M365 including Azure AD and Exchange administration, permissions, file access, SharePoint/Teams/One Drive administration.

• Good understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switches).

• Customer-focused mindset with outstanding communication abilities.

• Ability to work on own initiative.

• Willingness to travel to clinics within London a must.
