Fortius Clinic London are looking to hire a Senior Theatre Practitioner - Scrub, to join their Surgical Centre in Marylebone, London.

This is a full-time, permanent position, reporting to the Head and Deputy Head of Theatres.

There is the option of a 4 or 5 day working week, covering 37.5 hours per week with a mix of earlies, lates, and long days.

Job requirements

Essential:

  • Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration

  • Educated to degree level with considerable further professional development

  • Minimum of 4 years post qualification experience in operating theatre setting

  • Qualified Surgical First Assist

  • ILS Qualification

  • Strong organisational and communications skills

  • Demonstrable experience of driving growth

  • Proven ability to lead a multi-functional team

  • Mentorship/Practice Assessor

  • Evidence of clinical reasoning skills across a varied patient case mix

  • Effective communicator with the ability to build professional relationships

  • Evidence of continuous professional development

    Desirable:

  • Experience of tight budgetary management including Profit and Loss accountability

  • ALS Qualification
